Play/Start

Play/start is a group of four queer musicians who came together in 2007 with the intent of making music that culls from all of their collected musical experiences and influences. Pop, metal, blues, dance, new wave, garage punk and riot grrrl are just some of the terms that have been used to describe their music. And, somehow, they all seem to fit together to create hot, danceable power pop music. Their on-stage energy is contagious, turning any show into a dance party.
